Dr. Rege has trained medical graduates for about ten years at the JJ Hospital, Mumbai and the Yerala Medical College. He was the secretary of the Dadar Medical Association and the Jt Organizing secretary of the All India Diabetic Foot Conference, held in Mumbai 2006. He is amongst the First to be awarded Fellowship in Diabetic Foot Surgery by the MUHS.

Through DFC India (DIABETIC FOOT CLINIC), he has been instrumental in organizing Free diagnostic camps and awareness programmes on Diabetic Foot through various organizations like the Rotarys, for Mumbai Police and Raj Bhavan as well as through many other Social organizations. DFC has also conducted free camps in the Konkan belt as a rural initiative.

SNAPSHOT

A practicing surgeon from Mumbai and has put in about 30 years of private practice in Central Mumbai. He felt the need to start a specialty centre dealing exclusively with foot problems in diabetics seeing the increasing number of diabetics as well as the complications of diabetes, specially the foot.

The mission was to give time and focus to the affected foot and try and prevent an amputation wherever possible by a systematic and scientific approach to the problem. With this mission Dfc india DIABETIC FOOT CLINIC was formed.
