Dr. Prakash Jiandani has had an illustrious career in Critical Care. He has attended national and international conferences and been invited to give talks in various seminars, CMEs, National and International conferences on topics related to critical care, Malaria, Sepsis, Ventilators, haemodynamic monitoring, infection control, ARDS , antibiotic use, etc. He was awarded the ‘Best Doctor Award’ at LTMMC Hospital in 1992. Dr. Jiandani has been a continuous ongoing clinical teacher for more than 24 years. He is also involved in teaching nursing staff, technicians and physical therapy students.


As chief of Intensive Care at Lilavati Hospital, he is deeply involved in quality control, training of all ICU personnel, clinical decision-making in patient care and policy matters.

He has been associated with Lilavati Hospital & Research Centre as a Consultant in Critical Care since January 1997. And with Fortis Hospital, Mulund, since 2012.

Imparting knowledge:
He has been a lecturer and associate professor at LTMC in 1996,1997 and teacher for undergraduates, post graduates, Fellowship (DNB) and Fellowship Programme, Critical Care for more than 24 years. He is also involved in teaching nursing staff, technicians and physical therapy students.

  • Recognized Teacher by the National Board (Delhi) for FNB in Critical Care.
  • Recognized Teacher for Diploma and Fellowship in Critical Care by ISSCM (Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine).
